This was a kitchen that we hand painted for a lovely lady called Maggie who lives in Wetherby. We really enjoyed doing this one. She made the best cup of tea in Yorkshire and she told the most brilliant stories. Okay, back to the kitchen... The kitchen was a typical medium oak kitchen, around 15 years old but in perfect condition. It just needed bringing up to date.
This was an interesting kitchen to paint as the client wanted to keep some oak in the kitchen but also use two colours for the rest of the kitchen. I wasn't sure if it would work but as you can see by the before and after photos it really works well and the kitchen looked stunning when finished.
I received a phone call from a lady called Cris. She asked if I could help her decide what to do with her kitchen. She had already got a couple of quotes for replacing the doors but wanted to find out if it was possible to paint her oak kitchen cabinets instead and what the finish would be like on a hand painted kitchen.
This kitchen is typically the type of kitchen we like to transform on a day to day basis. It's an oak kitchen, about 10 years old and to replace it would cost a small fortune and that's with no great change to the layout.
